- Consultation: We offer free consultation on paint finishes and types. We only use the leading brands like Behr and PPG to help you find the perfect paint for your exterior.
- Property Protection: Mr. Ed's Painting takes great care in covering your outdoor features by securing or covering them with tarps and drop cloths to prevent paint drips and splatters.
- Pre-set up Walk-Through: Before beginning we confirm your choices.
- Surface Preparation:
- Removing dirt and mildew using biodegradable detergent or bleach
- Scraping and sanding away peeling or flaking paint
- Spot priming, caulking, and applying putty as needed
- Evaluating and addressing any rotten or broken wood
- Securing loose boards, moldings, and protruding nails
- Window and Fixture Preparation: We protect windows during the painting process, potentially removing screens if necessary. We also remove and later replace items like downspouts, storm windows, and shutters. This might incur additional costs, but we'll keep you informed!
- Repair Evaluation: Mr. Ed will consult with you on any minor repairs or carpentry services that you might need to protect your home. Extra charges may apply.
- Painting: Mr. Ed's Painting professional painting process relies on only high-quality products and our years of experience and practice. We apply all coats of paint, including a finishing coat.
- Finishing Touches: Mr. Ed's team does a clean up after the project is complete, removing all trash and equipment. We ensure your property is left in perfect condition.
- Final Walk-Through: Mr. Ed personally conducts the final inspection and then asks you to join for a final walk-through. We are happy to address any final questions or concerns on the finished product.
